Over the holidays I updated several apps, for Android and iOS.  Ant Sim received a requested update that will allow the AI Ants to also pick up food and return it to the Ant Hill.  Car Crashers received a new Porsche  type car as well as Explosive Barrels.  Kids Car Racers received an update that added a new Formula One type car.  Both Kids Car Racers and Car Crashers are now x86 Android compatible.

Currently I am working on an update to the Subway Scene in Train Sim.  This is a complete rewrite of the Subway scene that will make the track much larger and increase the number of Stations from 3 to 15.  Also there will be an outside portion to the track, going over a bridge.  This new update will also add x86 processor support to Train Sim.

Flight SimThis weekend I created another update to Flight Sim.  This update features a new de Havilland DHC-6 Twin Otter Airplane.

Flight Sim is a realistic Flight Simulator, featuring:

iOS 8 Issues, Thanks Apple

So it looks like iOS 8 is forcing some of my games that were originally designed for Landscape mode  into Portrait mode.  Games affecter are Train Sim, Train Sim Lite, Car Crashers & Kids Plane Racers.

There is an easy fix and I have submitted  a new version of these games to the iTunes store, however I am sure there are many developers in the same boat trying to fix their apps/games now that iOS is live and the reviewers are probably overwhelmed.

On the positive side, most of the games actually work quite well in Portrait mode with the exception of Kids Plane Racers, so it could be worse.

So thanks Apple, I love your products but stop breaking stuff.

3 Jeweled New Version

3 Jeweled Icon3 Jewled Android has been updated to version 1.2.  New in this version is:

          • Added Google Leaderboards so players can post their score online
          • Added better icons for Score/Level/Hight Score and Restart.
          • Hitting the Restart button now asks you if you really want to Restart to prevent accidental losses of progress.

Car Crashers 1.2

Car CrashersCar Crashers Android has been updated to version 1.2.  New in this version is the ability to orbit your camera around the car once it is launched.

Also iOS version of Car Crashers 1.1 has been approved, which includes the new train yard scene.   iOS Car Crashers 1.2 coming soon.  Amazon App store Car Crashers 1.2 is currently in Review.
